Greetings.
I've taught for seven years now in various settings throughout the state of California. I've completed both my credentials and degree study programs at CSU Chico. I grew up in what I call "Far Northern California", North of both Redding and Mt. Shasta, in Siskiyou County. I strive each day to bring my small-town values of respect, perseverance, dedication, hard work, and kindness to my students.
I am blessed and honored to be working here at NP3 where the administration, staff, families, and students valued those same principles.
This year will be a new an interesting challenge. For much of our time together, we will be conducting investigations and inquiries through cross-cutting themes and engaging in the important practice of Science Discourse.
Students' ideas, hypotheses, use of data and claim-making will be the backbone of our course-as we use phenomenon of the world around us to drive our curiosity forward and attempt to suggest and solve these mysteries.
