NUSD Families,

We are excited to share that effective this Friday, May 1, 2020, we will expand our Mobile Meal Service to include supper, snack, and weekend meals.

Our mobile meal service will continue to be available at all 15 Natomas Unified School District sites between 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. To practice social distancing, parents are asked to remain in their vehicles for pick up and walkers are asked to follow the instructions of staff when they arrive to ensure the safety of everyone.

Supper and snack will be provided along with the regularly served breakfast and lunch meals, so families will leave with four meals per child. For weekend meals, families will pick up an additional 12 meals on Fridays to ensure children are fed throughout the weekend.

These meals are offered to families at no charge and no paperwork is needed as long as the child(s) is present with the parent/guardian. If the child is unable to be present, parents/guardians can bring any of the following verification:

  • Official letter/email from children’s school that shows children as enrolled
  • Individual student report cards
  • Attendance record from the Parent Portal
  • Birth Certificate for children not in school
  • Student ID Cards

This program is offered to children 18 years and younger. The child does not need to reside in Natomas. For a complete list of our schools, please visit www.staging.natomasunified.org.
