About Me

I've spent most of my life in Davis, CA. Luckily, ever since I met my wife, she has encouraged travels and adventures wherever and whenever possible which has allowed for my exposure to many fantastic locations ranging from other parts of California, to other countries like Croatia and New Zealand. When I'm at home, my primary hobbies consist of spending time with my two Italian Greyhounds, playing video games, and bicycling or motorcycling. I enjoy nearly all types of outdoor activities whenever I can participate in them, especially hiking or camping. My education and career background can be summarized as follows: I obtained a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering at UC Davis, after which I worked as a contract programmer for a couple of years. After a couple of projects which were met with minimal success, I decided I did not want to spend my working hours typing away at a computer. While searching for another opportunity I worked at Target for a couple of years to get by before education sparked my interest. Following that interest, I worked as a para-educator for one year at Midtown Community School in West Sacramento (at Midtown I had the privilege of supporting a group of students who had been expelled from other nearby schools).  Meanwhile, I prepared for the Sac State teacher credential program. The following year I completed the program and earned a credential to teach physics while student teaching at Sacramento New Technology High School. Shortly after I was lucky enough to obtain a position at Inderkum High School. The 2016-17 school year was my first school year as a full-time teacher.
