As of February 27, 2014, we are fully authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. We received authorization for the Middle Years Programme (grades 6-10), in conjunction with Natomas Middle School, on January 22, 2016. You can read more about our DP authorization here.
Scholars is an honors program to prepare students in grades 9 and 10 for the rigors, breadth and depth of the IB Diploma Programme. Students apply to be part of the program and are scheduled in accelerated classes taught by IB-trained teachers.
Applications for the Class of 2025 opened on November 15 and were due by January 31, 2021. Though the application link remains open, late applications will be considered on a space available basis only after the on-time applications are processed. There is a “how to” document in the application forms section, and the application link is at the right. If you’re interested in applying for the Scholars Class of 2024 or taking IB Diploma Programme courses as part of the Class of 2023, please email first for information. Notifications of acceptance will go out in March 2021.
Please note that there is a separate enrollment process for Inderkum that also needs to be completed in order for your student to be considered for Scholars/IB. Please review this chart carefully to learn the required steps to complete your student’s enrollment.

Remind is a great tool for keeping in contact as most of you check texts more often than emails. You may install their app on your phone and use Remind.com on a computer, but I highly recommend that within your settings, you enable Remind to send the messages to you as texts. To join, text the appropriate code (including the @) to 81010 or use the code (without the @) inside the Remind app or website.
