What is National Honor Society?
National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationally recognized organization for high-achieving students who demonstrate character, leadership, scholarship, and service.

Why should I join?
Membership signals to colleges and employers that you are a dedicated scholar and exemplary member of the school and community. You also get access to scholarship opportunities, leadership roles, and community service projects.

What are the requirements to apply?
-Have attended Inderkum High School for at least one semester
-Enrolled in 10-12 grade for the 2020-2021 school year
-3.5 cumulative GPA or above.
-Demonstrate leadership, service, and character

If I’m accepted, what will I do?
Attend monthly club meetings
Participate in club service projects (at least 10 hours per semester)
Promote a culture of academic achievement at IHS.
Pay NHS dues: $20 new members; $10 returning members. This money goes toward paying for your club t-shirts, National Honor Society National Registration membership dues, and NHS Induction costs.

*Note: Students will need 2 teacher recommendations. Students must send out the following link to the teacher recommendation form to the 5 teachers who will be recommending them for the club. https://forms.gle/XTgT1u28QYNrmFVU7
