How to give students an IAB (Interim Assessment Block)

The CAASPP Interim Assessment Blocks (IABs) are short computer-based versions of the CAASPP test designed to inform teaching and learning.  Here are directions for students to take an IAB on a Chromebook:

  1. Log out of Google
  2. Select the “Apps” button on the bottom left of the login screen
  3. Select Air Secure Test
  4. Optional- Select California
  5. Enter required information (name, Student ID and Test Code)
  6. Wait for approval

*Note: It is a good idea to have Student IDs ready ahead of time as some students may not know their ID number.
