Two new sets of instructions for OLR Application Entry at NUSD Schools:
The first instruction involves the registration editor at the beginning of the Registration Process.

Please use your name and the birth date 10/01/1901 on the registration screen (See Fig We will be able to track which applications are entered by whom, in case we have questions.

It will allow us to know if an application was school-entered or parent-entered.

You should ignore the email and student previously attended fields.

Use 10/01/1901 for the date of birth.

his will populate the parent field, when opened the first time, with your name. You will need to change that to the Parent Information (See Fig. 2).

The second set of instructions involves directing a student’s enrollment.
We have removed the Open Enrollment Pleat from the application. It has been replaced by a series of fields on the Student Demographic Pleat.

When you enter a student’s requested grade, the Boundary School will populate, if the student’s address has a school boundary on it in Infinite Campus. (See Fig. 3).

If there is no school mapping in Campus for the address entered, the Boundary School will say, “Unable to determine Boundary School (See Fig 4).

There is a question that asks if another school is to be chosen. The answer to this question is defaulted to “No” (See Fig. 3). Please leave this as is if the boundary school is the school requested on the application.

If the boundary school is different from the school requested, choose “Yes” in the drop down.

If “Yes” is chosen in the drop down of the choice question, a Choose School drop down appears (See Fig. 5)

Click the drop down, and choose the school requested (See Fig. 6).

When this pleat is finished, click “Next” to proceed to the housing pleat.
