Dear Nighthawk Family and guests,

I am Natomas High School Principal, Scott Pitts, and welcome to our NHS website!  Please take a moment to explore our N.H.S. programs and offerings.  

At Natomas High, we are a comprehensive, AP Capstone school offering an array of Advanced Placement courses, along with our Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways in engineering, health, digital media, automotive, music production, and building and construction trades.   We continue the focus upon students advancing through our world language classes to achieve the California Seal of BiLiteracy.  All courses, as well as our traditional programs in athletics, art, music, and student activities, we use to support our students to graduate college and career ready, and as productive, responsible, engaged global citizens.  

I have fond memories of our Natomas community beginning in my youth, watching this campus being built, and continuing through the roles I’ve played at Natomas High School as a teacher, coach, and activities director.  With 20 years as a part of Natomas Unified School District, I’m honored to continue to serve our community and families as Principal of Natomas High.  With our many traditions, acceptance of backgrounds and abilities, and the celebration of our diversity, I find it thrilling to be a part of this campus and partner with our families to support each of our students to learn and succeed.
