All Natomas Middle School students and parents will be able to access Infinite Campus, our online grading system, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16th. The Infinite Campus system will allow students and parents to access students current grades. This service is available to all students in grades 6-12 and will be be available to view from any smart phone or computer device. Students will use their Google login information to access the portal. Parents can ask students for login information or obtain it from the front office of their child’s school. On September 23rd from 6:30- 7:30pm, we will be hosting a Parent Engagement Night about Common Core Math. We will be talking about what are the new California state standards, how will the California standards affect your student, and how you can support your student this year with Math. There will also be opportunity to view textbooks that are being piloted/filed test for future adoption.
Parent CORES is hosting the 3rd Annual Parent Institute on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Inderkum High School. This year’s theme, Parent Engagement, is designed to support Natomas families to stay informed and be involved in their child’s education. The institute will include keynote presentations, educational breakout sessions, and a community resource fair. Interactive workshops include: Infinite Campus Parent/Student Portal, English Language Development, Nutrition, Financial Literacy, Special Education, Mental Health, A-G Requirements and Access, College Eligibility, Financial Aid, and School Readiness. Lunch will be provided through collaboration with NUSD Food Services, and transportation will be provided upon request from each NUSD school site. A FREE parenting gift will be given to the first 100 families that attend. Registration will begin at 9 a.m., the program will start at 9:30 a.m., and the event will end at 2:45 p.m. Families need to register online at Parent CORES or by calling 567-5516.

The meeting will be a chance to discuss our EL program and how we can best support our students. Please check in at the main office to receive a vistors badge, then you will be directed to the meeting location.
