Hello! I am Bennae Dillingham, and this is my fifth year at NP3. I have been teaching English for 15-years, but this came after a 5-year career as an accountant. Soon after I began my accounting career I realized that numbers were NOT my passion. So, after carefully reevaluating my career choice, I decided to pursue my love for reading, writing, and working with children, and become a teacher. I went back to school to earn a teaching credential and a master’s degree in education and have been teaching ever since! I have worked at two other high schools in the Sacramento area, but my best experience by far has been at NP3. I can attest to the positive impact the small school environment and supportive culture has on student learning, as I watch my students learn and grow each day

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, trying new recipes, dancing, and spending time with my family. We have lived in the Natomas community for 20 years, and it has been a treat to server the community in which I live.

My goal as an educator is to challenge my students to think critically, value the opinions of others, and to embrace new challenges. I believe that all students can succeed, and hope to inspire them to become lifelong learners!
