My Name is Casey Harris and I teach High School Physical Education. This will be my 2nd year at NP3 and I am extremely happy to be a part of the NP3 family. I am married and have a 3 year old son, and a 9 year old golden retriever. I grew up in Auburn California, and played just about every sport out there. When I was 14, I started playing Tennis I realized that I had a passion for the game. I won the League Championships my senior year and my team won the NorCal Championships in Division One. I went on to play #1 at Sierra Junior College for two years. It was during this time that I started teaching tennis and decided to turn down a scholarship at Sacramento State to take the job as Junior Tennis Coordinator at Rio Del Oro Racquet Club. This way, I was able to still teach, play tennis for fun and get my Bachelor’s Degree. Over the 16 years that I taught at Rio Del Oro, I held the titles of Junior Tennis Coordinator, Social Tennis Director and Academy Assistant Director. I had the opportunity to coach thousands of kids as well as adults, from beginner to advanced, and had many kids continue on and play in college. I have always been passionate about teaching and have been blessed to be able to do what I love. In 2014, I decided that I wanted to become a Physical Education Teacher. After going back to school to get a Teaching credential, I was lucky enough to become a part of the NP3 team. I have a passion to teach, and enjoy helping kids realize that with hard work and discipline, that they can understand how to live a happy and healthy life.
