Week of September 14th Due: Sunday September 20, 2015
Focus: We will focus on the events that lead to the Declaration of Independence. We will explore the essential questions "When is it necessary for citizens to stand up to their government?" and What are the ways the United States upholds the principles of the Declaration of Independence?" Monday: Introduce Towards Independence and do Ch. 5 & 6 Notes, intro 1, 2, 5, 8 Project-unpack and go over Assignments HW: None Tuesday: Start 1, 2, 5, 8, Project HW: None Wednesday: Continue 1, 2, 5, 8 HW: 8pts should be completed by Monday 9/21 Thursday: Continue 1, 2, 5, 8 HW: 8pts should be completed by Monday 9/21 Friday: Final day in class to work on 1, 2, 5, 8 HW: 8pts should be completed by Monday 9/21 Assessments: 8 points will be due Monday September 21st and the Declaration of Independence Children's Book and Essay will be administered upon our return from break.
