Hello students and families, and welcome to NP3! This is my sixth year teaching at NP3 and I am very excited to meet everyone and grow together! I am from Redding, CA, and attended both Humboldt State University and CSU Sacramento, where I graduated with a degree in History and a minor in German. I earned my Single Subject teaching credential from Simpson University. I also was fortunate to live in Germany for a year and experience a different language and culture (and travel!). In my free time I love to go hiking, backpacking, fishing, traveling, eating new food, and reading. I really value quality time with my friends and family, and know it's important for our students as well.

My goals for this year are to spread a love of learning (specifically in Social Studies but with every subject), help students develop personal and academic skills to help them become successful, and to build meaningful relationships with students and families.
