Hello! I am Heather Rodriguez and I am super excited to be a first year NP3 Pirate! This will be my 7th year teaching English. I began my career teaching 8th grade, but switched to high school English for a short time and now I am happy to be back educating 8th graders! Middle school is such a pivotal point in the lives of kids, and I enjoy being a part of those years.

My hobbies include spending time with family, travel, reading, and enjoying all of the things Sacramento has to offer since my family just moved here from the Central Valley.  My husband and I have four adult children and four grandchildren and we moved to this area to be closer to them.  So far, we are loving Sacramento and I am loving NP3!
