May is Bike Month is here!

The Jibe Student Challenge is back! Track your bike trips throughout May for a chance to earn a prize pack featuring a drawstring bag, water bottle with mist feature, a May is Bike Month t-shirt, and a kickball. Prizes will be awarded by random drawing at the end of the month so make sure to get tracking. Check out our first Chill-dren’s Treat Wednesday. Each Wednesday throughout May Jibe will be giving out free desserts to students who are out biking. This Wednesday we’ll be at Valley Oak Park from 5-7 pm and our free dessert will be courtesy of Bubble Cone Food Truck. To claim your free dessert, ride your bike, stop by the Jibe booth, and show us your helmet to get your voucher.

Photo Contest

Are you a shutterbug? Show us how you celebrate May is Bike Month by uploading a photo to the Jibe Student Challenge website to earn a badge and for a chance to win prizes. There are two different contests:

1.   A photo of your student’s favorite part about biking in North Natomas (a tree with a crazy branch, a neighborhood animal that they like to stop and pet, the speed bump that makes it feel like a roller coaster, etc).

2.   Get creative and highlight your family. Make a cool poster, wear wacky outfits (or May is Bike Month attire), or find the perfect spot to highlight your family biking.

Chill-dren’s Treat Wednesday

Chill-dren’s Treat Wednesday will be back again on Wednesday, May 12, at Witter Ranch Park. Stop by from 5-7pm and received free Kona Ice. You must have biked and be wear a helmet to receive a free cone!

Scavenger Hunt at the Regional Park

Jibe has hidden 7 letters are hidden around the Natomas Regional Park. Find all 7 and enter the mystery word on the Jibe Student Challenge Website to earn a special badge and be entered to win prizes! For hints about where you can find the letters, go to the Jibe Student Challenge website.

 

Chill-dren’s Treat Wednesday

Chill-dren’s Treat Wednesday will be back again on Wednesday, May 19, at the North Natomas Community Park (Eyes Park) by Natomas Park Elementary School. Stop by from 5-7pm and received free Kona Ice. You must have biked and wear a helmet to receive a free cone! Stop by the Jibe table to get your free coupon and other free swag.
