The School Leadership and Support Department is pleased to announce the selection of Mrs. Kimberley Monteiro as our 2014 Natomas Unified School District Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Monteiro is currently a Kindergarten Teacher at Bannon Creek School. Mrs. Monteiro has been employed with Natomas Unified for 22 years.
Mrs. Monteiro is an exceptional teacher who consummately balances engaging and rigorous classroom instruction with sincere care and commitment for her students and their individual needs. Her classroom exemplifies high quality instructional practices, providing students with an experience where they are inspired to commit to learning and personal growth. She stated, “Our kids deserve the best!”
All of the 2014 School Site Teachers of the Year clearly exhibit their commitment to their students, school and Natomas Unified School District. It is indeed an honor to be working with such a dedicated group of professionals.
