Kinder Readiness Summer Program

The Natomas Unified Kindergarten Readiness Program is designed to prepare children for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) or Kindergarten (K) success in the upcoming school year. Enrollment is only available for those registered for TK or Kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year. The program is open to all eligible children regardless of what school they are registered to attend. This program is at capacity.

The Kindergarten Readiness Program will be held at Two Rivers Elementary, 3201 W River Dr, Sacramento, CA 95833. The program will operate from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, from June 16-July 2, 2021.

Attendance Policy
Due to the limited number of spaces and days of the program, attendance is essential. Students and families must commit to attending the entire session. Three absences for reasons other than illness may result in your student being disenrolled.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols
Staff, students and families will be required to follow current safety guidelines regarding COVID-19.  If there are any changes, families will be notified.  Please go to the NUSD website for further information. NUSD COVID-19 Information and Safety Procedures

Behavior Management
Staff will use positive behavior management techniques in working with our students.

While at the Kindergarten Readiness Program, children are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities both inside and outside.  Please send your child to school in washable, comfortable clothing that is okay for them to get dirty.

Nutrition Services
As part of our Nutrition Services program, all Kindergarten Readiness Program students will be offered school-provided breakfast and lunch at no cost.
