New NUSD Podcast Released on Newly Designed Elementary Report Cards – Episode 6

Having a comprehensive and easy to read format that clearly shows a student’s performance is integral for parents to be better equipped to help their child succeed. That was key in the redesign of Natomas Unified’s elementary report cards. Launching in fall 2019, parents will learn in this episode the extensive work that went into the development, what’s different, and why this matters.

‌SacRT Fare-Free Transit for Students‌

Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) is offering free transportation to all students who attend a school within the city of Sacramento from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. Natomas Unified is requiring that parents/guardians of TK-5 students Opt-in by submitting this permission/request form for their child to participate. For Grades 6-12, we are requesting site staff to affix the SacRT sticker to student ID’s.

2019-2020 Athletic Participation Forms

Athletic forms for the upcoming school year are now available on our Athletics page. Students who plan to participate are required to complete a Clearance Packet prior to being eligible to tryout. Please complete forms and turn in physicals (required for athletics) and immunizations to the front office by the start of school.

No NUSD child will go hungry this summer, if we can help it … We’re offering free breakfasts and lunches, Mondays through Fridays, beginning Tuesday, May 28 at 11 of our schools. Find a school near you!

Let’s Get Moovin Summer 2019 Sports Program offers a variety of summer sports for K-8 students including Soccer Camp, Basketball Camp, and Tennis Camp. Students will develop athletic skills, sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-esteem through the program’s coaches, volunteers, and fun-filled structure.
