Natomas Unified School District (NUSD) believes every student deserves equal opportunities to succeed. Their success is our success; their powerful stories are our inspiration.
Each year, NUSD recognizes one student from each site who is succeeding against all odds, beyond expectations, or simply won the hearts of the administrators and other educators who helped them achieve their goals. On Friday, April 1, 2022, these students were honored along with their families and presented with a certificate and gift for their achievements. After enjoying a delicious breakfast made possible by our partner Lozano Smith, each honoree took to the stage after a short excerpt of their nomination was read. NUSD Board of Trustees greeted each honoree while the guests in attendance applauded.
Congratulations to all of the students who were honored for soaring high and not letting obstacles prevent their paths to success.
